At Party Hire Christchurch we strive to be the best. We keep up to date with the latest technology to bring your event in to the 21st century. When it comes to wedding DJ'ing however rather than keeping up to date with the latest music that you hear on the radio everyday anyway, we play the songs that have significance in peoples lives.

Weddings are one of those life events that are times for reflections. You want to bring out the happiness of everyone attending. And to do that you need to play the music that the guests know of and have had wired in to them for significant portions of their lives. Playing an old time favourite can bring back the happy memories from those times which ultimately brings out happiness again for the wedding day which is what we're trying to achieve at Party Hire.

How do we make sure we're on track with the to be couples?

When enquiring for a booking we liaise with the host's to get the best understanding of what the host's expect from the night. We ask things like how many guests, the median age for the wedding. The time's, the type of music, special requests? We also work out with the host's if the entertainment we provide will be the centre of attention or more a sort of background entertainment.

What will the day cost me?

Well we have put together some simple packages to make things easy on the customer. However everything we do is pretty customisable.

Some customers may just be wanting a simple mobile DJ solution where as another may want extras such as wall uplighting or a big TV display.

You can also order other things from our website not just this page

We also have customers who will want to be their own DJ's using their own playlists or friends. We have packages to suit all and hiring a DJ from us is not mandatory at all!

All the packages are inclusive of setup, pack-down & cartage within Christchurch. They also include a microphone and the ability to connect music from a phone

Outside of Christchurch? Travel rates are $2 per km from CHC airport.
